Is there something better than these hard plastic washers that go in the shower handle? These have broke twice already.

This glass thing is about 12" tall,with a green tint. The base is about 5" in diameter. The "circle,& bubble" on the right is made of solid glass it goes in about 3",& at a slight downward angle. With no holes. The spout is about 3" long. ...

I bought this decanter recently in an opportunity shop for $10. Its unusual shape fascinated me. Does anyone know if the number 181 on the label has any importance, when it would have been made perhaps ?
