I believe this was found on an orchard. It's wrought iron. There are actually two in the picture, one is hanging off of the other. Each hangs from a hook and has two rings of different sizes connected to eachother. Any ideas? Thanks

I found this while metal detecting - it was buried about 8 inches down, next to what I think was a stone wall that marked out the edge of a garden. Anyone know what this tool was used for, or how old it is?
