Pool equipment Description:Buying a house in Florida, and would like to know what type of filter this is, the home was built in the 1990's but i haven't seen this type of filter if its cartridge or powder. Let me know please thanks. Comments:

It's an earth filter.
It uses this white powder shit that makes a frigin mess when you have to back wash it. I mean a TOTAL FRIGIN MESS and makes your yard (or where ever you drain it) look like someone sprinkled wet comet cleanser everywhere.
