Artist Info for Ink Drawing
Description:I have had this drawing (print?) for some time. Got it at an estate sale. Sadly, the name of the artist has been cut in half and I can't decipher it. Can you help? It is a street scene, apparently in Europe. The style reminds me of the work that Wyeth did for Robert Louis Stevenson's books. But the first name of the artist appears to be Jan, suggesting a Dutch or Polish origin. The last name also seems to end in -ck or -ek. That's the best I can do. Please help. |
