Chinese figures?Description:Can anybody help me? I've heard a story of this one-eye red man, but I remember it no more. And does the other figures belong together as well? Comments:

The figures are actually Japanese. The red ones are called Daruma. They usually come without pupils, and you are supposed to make a wish on then and fill in the pupils, typically done on New Year's.
The tall, long dolls are called Kokeshi. They tend to come looking very different, but maintain the basic shape of long, cylindrical body with a round head attached.
