Your RAM is probably broken.

Making sure IE is up-to-date (via windowsupdate.microsoft.com) is probably a good place to start. The Microsoft support pages have details on fixed bugs with this symptom, so you could see if any of these sound like your problem: http://support.microsoft.com/search/default.aspx?mode=r&query=%22memory+could+not+be+read%22+ie&catalog=LCID%3D1033&1033comm=1&spid=global If not, and especially if you see this outside of Internet Explorer, it could be your RAM, which can sometimes be fixed by removing/reseating the RAM. If it seems to be a problem with Internet Explorer and you can't fix it, there's also the option of installing a different browser, such as Firefox (www.firefox.com).

From what I remember about it from computer science, it has to do with how the application was programmed though I can't remember the exact details. Something is causing a larger value for a particular variable than the programmer anticipated should happen. Anyway, go to Tools - Internet Options - click the Advanced tab. Uncheck Enable third-party browser extensions. Seems that should fix it, but you should also make sure IE is up to date as playclever said. spyxxx566, it is called a screen capture, there should be a print screen (mine is abbreviated Prt Scr) button on your keyboard, press it and you can paste it into paint and save it... you can hold either shift or ctrl... not sure which, and it'll capture only the current active window

As the error says, it's an application error. The RAM is not "broken". IE tried to access an area of Windows memory that it was not allowed to access. Unfortuntely, this error is difficult to figure out since it's so cryptic. Run your virus software on your system to check for that (you do have anti-virus software, right?)
