antique repair Description:i got antique furniture that was slightly damaged. Any suggestions on how to best repair this without lowering the value of the piece? Ive got the small piece that broke off. Comments:

just glue it back with a pva wood glue [being careful not to get glue on varnish] just a little don't use too much and clamp for 24 hours - maybe just use a couple strong rubber bands around it.
