this is a mango slicer and seed remover. It works really well, like an apple slicer that also removes the core.

It is indeed a mango splitter. Much like an apple corer, this tool will halve your mango into halves, leaving the seed out for easy disposal. Amazon.com sells these for about 12 bucks: http://tinyurl.com/2h3wpc
