Bolt Description:This is a bolt I have on my patio wall, the other side of the wall is the kitchen. Whats this bolt for?? Comments:

This is a drain cleanout plug (not a bolt). If you remove it you can snake whatever drain (kitchen sink?) is behind the wall if it gets clogged.

You didn't tell us what size it is, if the diameter of the area around the square is 1-1/4 in or larger it is a cleanout plug if it is smaller let us know the diameter of the outside flat area and the size of the square lug.

If the house is old enough, it could be a plug for a gas wall light. Size of the plug will tell.
