Iv'e got light scatchs on my wood tadle. it has an oak finish on it what's the best way to remove them ???

White polishing compound from a auto parts store. Use a buffer - in fact, hit the whole table. Give it several applications. When done, go over it with car wax. You'll be amazed. If you really want to go nuts, sand it with 14 micron wet sand paper (also from auto parts store, let it dry, and spray it with polyurethane. It will look brand new.

Go to a place like Home Depot where they sell grease crayons in many wood colors specially made to permanently fill and get rid of furn. scratches. Check out their full line of products for the care of distressed furn.
