I had one the same but with a different uniform. I was about 9 or 10yo so that would make it 1977-1978.

Certainly seems to be from the 70's: http://www.hasbro.com/gijoe/default.cfm?page=history§ion=70s Hard to find a specific date and that exact design...

If you look close you'll see he has ringworm as well as jock itch. I wouldn't take off his shoes if I were you. You should however take off his pants. According to this site: http://www.yojoe.com/action/ there should be a date stamped on the inside of his leg or the seat of his pants. But then they only seem to cover figures made since 1982 and that was definitely made before.

In UK these were known as Action Man.. Your's is from the late 60's.. So, very collectible! 5th item down.. http://freespace.virgin.net/hidden.valley/v7toys.htm The soft rubber hands didn't come out till a lot later years.
